Microsoft SATVs Retired, Now What?

Microsoft announced its intent to retire the Software Assurance Training Vouchers program in 2021. As of January 1, 2022, the SATV program ended and organizations can no longer redeem SATVs with authorized training providers.

This has no impact to our status as an authorized Microsoft Gold Learning and Gold Cloud Platform training provider. We continue to provide comprehensive live, instructor-led, on-demand and blending training taught by certified experts.

What Were Software Assurance Training Vouchers?

Organizations that purchased Microsoft software volume licensing agreements may have been eligible to redeem SATVs for training. Global Knowledge offered Microsoft’s full suite of SATV-eligible courses before the program ended. See our Microsoft training catalog.

Benefits managers must have assigned SATVs to their workforce by June 30, 2021. Any unassigned were removed by July 1, 2021. Individuals must have redeemed their vouchers and sat the classes before Dec. 23, 2021.
