AWS Associate Certification levels are role-based that showcase your knowledge and skills on AWS and build your credibility as an AWS Cloud professional.
There are three AWS Certified Associate tracks as listed below. Please note, prior cloud and/or strong on-premises IT experience is recommended.
|AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate||
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate showcases knowledge and skills in AWS technology, across a wide range of AWS services. The focus of this certification is on the design of cost and performance optimized solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. This certification can enhance the career profile and earnings of certified individuals and increase your credibility and confidence in stakeholder and customer interactions.
This exam does not require deep hands-on coding experience, although familiarity with basic programming concepts would be an advantage.
|AWS Certified Developer – Associate||AWS Certified Developer Associate showcases knowledge and understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices, and proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications by using AWS. Preparing for and attaining this certification gives certified individuals more confidence and credibility. Organizations with AWS Certified developers have the assurance of having the right talent to give them a competitive advantage and ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction.|
|AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate||
This credential helps organizations identify and develop talent with critical skills for implementing cloud initiatives. Earning AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate validates experience in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS.
As of March 28, 2023, the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate exam will not include exam labs until further notice. This removal of exam labs is temporary while AWS evaluate the exam labs and make improvements to provide an optimal candidate experience.
