In this series of webinars on Microsoft Azure, we begin with an explanation of exactly what a Cloud is. To fully understand and appreciate what Azure is, it is important that we understand what a Cloud is and what it is not.
In future webinars, we will examine how to migrate into Azure and then study the various services available in Azure.
Bert started his career as a computer technician supporting HP mini computers. It was following this experience that Bert took four years off to complete his Bachelor of Computer Science degree at Acadia University.
Upon completion of his BCS, Bert worked first for the Government of NWT, and later for the Government of Canada. Throughout his career, he gained extensive knowledge and experience in various areas, including project management, technical support and software development using Oracle, Powersoft, Novell, and Microsoft products.
In addition to this hands-on experience Bert has also taught various computer courses at the post-secondary level, including software systems analysis and design methods, Microsoft network administration, Microsoft Visual Basic and MS Access programming and EDP auditing.
Bert brings his extensive hands-on knowledge and skill, past teaching experience, and the official curriculum together for a well-rounded approach to the delivery of each course.
