Module 1. Introduction & Architecture of App Volumes

  • Understand what business challenges App Volumes solves, the components that make up App Volumes and its Architecture.

Module 2. Working with Application Packages

  • Understand the App Volumes provisioning process.
  • Get how App Volumes integrates with an organization application life-cycle management strategy.
  • Understand the difference in the two primary strategies, that being Classic delivery and On-Demand Delivery.

Module 3. App Volumes On-Demand Delivery

  • Understand the configuration options for On-demand Delivery for both Desktop and RDS Farm, Published Application Delivery.

Module 4. App Volumes Advanced Configurations

  • Understand the function and how to setup Storage Groups.
  • Learn what to know about the Snapvol.cfg configuration file App Volumes Command Line packaging using appcapture.exe

Module 5. Dynamic Environment Manager Architecture and Console Overview

  • Introduce the concept of Profile management, Dynamic Environment Manager Architecture, its components and how it works.

Module 6. Dynamic Environment Manager Advanced Configurations

  • Understand what, in the context of Dynamic Environment Manager, an Environment is, why it would necessary to use Dynamic Environment across Environments and how Environments are configured.

This course is part of the Learning Path towards the Omnissa Certified Administrator – Horizon (OCA-H) certification - a 65-item proctored exam delivered through Pearson VUE, with a passing score of 275 using a scaled method. Candidates are given an appointment time of 135 minutes.
