Global Knowledge Strengthens Sales Organization with Executive Appointments

Research Triangle, NC -- Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT training, is proud to announce the appointment of Todd Awtry as Vice President, Northeast Sales, and Bill Foster as Vice President, West and Central and Telecommunication Sales. In these newly created roles, Awtry and Foster support Global Knowledge’s commitment to deliver consistent, streamlined, global IT training solutions for organizations to maximize their technology, mitigate their talent gaps and accelerate their successes.

Based in Georgia, Awtry is a technology industry veteran who brings over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing; strategic, territory and account planning; and team building at some of the most successful technology companies. “It’s an exciting time to join the market leader in the IT training space,” said Awtry. “Increasingly, companies understand they must address their technical skills gaps internally, and they are turning to Global Knowledge to provide training solutions to help them meet their goals.” Awtry comes to Global Knowledge from Absolute Software, an information and cybersecurity company where he was Vice President of Sales; he has held leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Gateway Inc., Payroll 1 and Arbor Computer Corp.

Foster, who is located in California, has over 30 years of experience in hardware and software technology sales and building high performance field and inside sales teams. “In this era of rapid IT transformation, our training helps our customers drive technological innovation and retain and develop top IT talent to maintain a competitive advantage,” said Foster. Prior to Global Knowledge, he was Vice President of Sales with Parasoft, has held leadership roles with Dell Software Group and Cognos Corporation and worked for SAP America and Hewlett-Packard.
