The Information System Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) concentration was developed in conjunction with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) as an invaluable tool to validate your advance expertise in information security engineering. (ISC)2 CISSP®-ISSEP® is the standard for incorporating security into projects, applications, business processes and all information systems. This certification demonstrates your ability to use best practices to integrate security into all areas of business operations. The CISSP-ISSEP certification is ideal for systems and information engineers and analysts.
To qualify for the CISSP-ISSEP, you must have at least two years of required experience in engineering, maintain your CISSP credential in good standing. To pass the exam, you must have expertise in the four domains of the ISSEP Common Body of Knowledge® (CBK):
- Systems Security Engineering
- Certification and Accreditation (C&A) / Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Technical Management
- U.S. Government Information Assurance Related Policies and Issuances
