Introduction to Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 8 (AD258)

AD258- An introduction of the features provided by Red Hat JBoss EAP 8, and how to perform basic management of EAP 8 services.

Introduction to Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 8 introduces you to the features of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) 8. Through hands-on labs, learn some essential, real-world tasks that a system administrator needs to know to effectively deploy and manage applications on JBoss EAP.

This course provides an introduction to the latest Red Hat JBoss EAP features, and presents the options to evolve JakartaEE infrastructures by migrating, refactoring, or redeploying the existing applications to different platforms.

AD258 helps an organization to decide how to evolve its JakartaEE infrastructure by focusing in three areas:

  • The migration and migration tools to move the applications and the application servers to JBoss EAP 8
  • The new Elytron security subsystem
  • Use JBoss EAP on hybrid clouds, with focus on Red Hat OpenShift

This course is based on Red Hat JBoss® Enterprise Application Platform 8.0.
