April 07, 2015

Complete official certification training now available in North America

CARY, N.C. and TORONTO - Global Knowledge, the world's leading IT and business training provider, today announced it has been named an (ISC)2 Official Training Provider to expand training resources available to information systems security professionals throughout North America.

This new partnership provides more options for security professionals seeking to earn official (ISC)2 certifications amidst increasing organizational demand for highly skilled, adaptive teams to protect critical systems and data. Global Knowledge now offers official training for all nine of the certifications in the (ISC)2 suite.

"We're pleased to partner with a company that has been recognized as one of the top IT training organizations for the past several years," said David Shearer, CISSP, PMP, executive director, (ISC)2. "As a new Official Training Provider, Global Knowledge will provide additional tools to the IT security community to help advance our mission. Industry recognized credentials and subsequent training materials set an accepted standard and offer confidence to organizations and customers alike."

Global Knowledge offers a broad portfolio of security training, in addition to continuous learning resources, to provide learners and their organizations with expanded activities, expert support and materials to supplement classroom experiences and to practice skills. (ISC)2 training offered by Global Knowledge uses official content and is suited for professionals looking to close the security skills gap to keep pace with changing industry job roles.

"We are seeing increased urgency around proper provisioning for security positions, and certification for those roles, from customers around the world," said Michael Fox, SVP, Enterprise Solutions for Global Knowledge. "Security requirements are changing at an unprecedented speed, and equipping teams with the appropriate training and skills to properly plan and manage against them is forcing companies to prioritize investments in appropriate systems, practices and ongoing professional development. We are working with customers to assess their resources, and help quickly and effectively close skills gaps - not just to help bolster their success, but to protect their very foundation."
