Global Knowledge Advice to Students Regarding the Coronavirus Outbreak

Date:
March 06, 2020

Global Knowledge values the safety and health of our customers and staff above all else. We are closely monitoring the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and the advice from national and international health agencies.

We have made preparations to ensure that we can provide our students with the best possible training, while minimizing risk of infection.

Additional cleaning and sanitization measures have been put in place at all Global Knowledge facilities, and our instructors’ travel has been minimized.

Students enrolled in classroom courses have the option to join their class virtually. Students who wish to switch to a virtual option should contact their sales representative or local office.

If essential, courses will be switched to a virtual classroom delivery format only. Decisions regarding individual courses are being made by the relevant country teams based on the latest local advice and information. We will contact enrolled students directly if there is any impact to their course.

Any students who have traveled to a coronavirus high-risk area in the last month, or have close family members who have been in contact with a suspected coronavirus case, are asked to contact their sales representative and switch to a virtual enrollment.

Global Knowledge already delivers a significant proportion of its instructor-led training via our virtual classroom platform, which provides the same expert instruction and hands-on experience as live classroom sessions, without the need for travel. You can learn more about Global Knowledge Virtual Classroom Live here, and prepare for the class with these tips for a successful virtual training experience.

As this is a developing situation, this advice may change.

Thank you,
