New Candidate Requirements

If you hold no VCP certifications:

1. (Recommended) Gain experience with Horizon 7.x or 8.x
2. (Required) Attend One of the required training courses:
   • VMware Horizon 8: Deploy and Manage
   • VMware Horizon 8: Deploy and Manage plus App Volumes Fast Track
   • VMware Horizon 8: Troubleshooting Bootcamp [V8.0]
   • VMware Horizon 8: Virtual Desktop Troubleshooting
3. (Required) Pass the Foundations exam
   
   • VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations Exam (2V0-01.19)
4. (Required) Pass the qualifying exam
   
   • VMware Professional Horizon 7.7 (2V0-51.19)
