The new CCNA programme has been designed to prepare you for today’s associate-level job roles in IT. The new look CCNA is no longer focused just on routing and switching but incorporates elements of security, automation and programmability. 
Through a combination of lecture and hands-on labs, you will learn how to:

• Install, operate, configure and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks
• Configure wireless LAN controllers
• Manage network devices and identify basic security threats.

Network programmability, automation and software-defined networking is also included in this course at a foundational level. 

The exam for the new CCNA certification will not be available until the 24th of February, so taking the course in January gives you time ensure you have mastered all of the topics before taking the exam.
