Since graduating with a Telecommunications degree in the late 1980s, Ray has worked for several major organizations including IBM, ROLM, MCI Worldcom, Realcom, and Metropolitan Fiber Systems installing and maintaining telecom systems where he witnessed the early evolution of VOIP implemented on LANs.
As an instructor with Global knowledge since 2001, he has taught several Telecom courses under Nortel and Avaya, went onto delivering Networking classes which led to certifying and instructing on CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+, and CySa+, he is also certified to teach EC-Council's CEH, and finally he delivers the Global Knowledge developed Cybersecurity Foundations course, with this webinar using one of its models as a basis.
And the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree, Ray has a son in College actively pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity which has become a much-needed skill set in today's job market, as every organization needs to defend itself against ever-growing cyber threats.
