Frank van de Laarschot

Starting 1 July 2021, it is not possible to make or assign new Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATV). Learn what this means for you and what you should do before 1 July in this article.

Until which date can you use your SATV's?

You need to create your vouchers before 1 July 2021, provide the vouchers with training days and assign them to someone. After you've done this, the voucher is ready for use and the employee can attend a training course using the voucher. The voucher is valid for 180 days after it has been created.

If you don't create your vouchers before 1 July, you can't use them anymore. Make sure you create your vouchers on time.

Which training courses can you attend using a SATV?

The SATV;s are valid for almost all Microsoft training courses, with the exception of Azure training courses. Last year, Microsoft Azure courses were retired from the Microsoft Software Assurance program. Learn more about SATV on this page.

What program will succeed the SATV program?

The SATV program will not be succeeded by another program.
