Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)

The Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) course is a technical deep-dive that provides extensive information on Veeam solutions.

The VMCE certification is documented proof that an engineer possesses the necessary level of expertise to correctly implement and configure Veeam® Software solutions. It is a great investment for an IT professional looking to increase productivity, reduce operating costs, propel personal career advancement and achieve industry recognition.

This certification is aimed at:

Veeam Certified Engineer - Advanced: Design and Optimisation (VMCE-A: Design & Optimization)

The Veeam Certified Engineer – Advanced: Design & Optimization V1 (VMCE-A: Design & Optimization V1) is a two-day technical course focused on teaching engineers how to design and optimize the Veeam Availability Suite solution, following Veeam Solutions Architects best practices. This class is designed for professional services consultants and system administrators alike who already attended the VMCE standard 3-day course, and aim for the Veeam Certified Architect title.The VMCE-A: D&O exam includes 40 randomized questions from each of the course modules. The exam must be taken at a Pearson VUE local testing facility. The VMCE-A: D&O certification is awarded to scores of 70% or higher.

This certification is aimed at:

  • System Engineers/ Administrators
  • Backup / Virtualization Administrators
  • Solution Architects / Consultants.

However, any IT specialistlooking to become an industry-recognised architect on Veeam Availability Suitecan participate in the course.

  • Already attended a VMCE three-day course

Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA)

By completing both VMCE and VMCE-A you will be granted with the "Veeam Certified Architect" (VMCA) title. Veeam Certified Architect status doesn’t require you to follow another course or pass aadditional exam other than the VMCE & VMCE-A: Design & Optimisation ones.
