Performing QA & testing activities in an organization requires a wide variety of knowledge and skills. This training course enables professionals to perform these operational activities.

TopThis training course is for all people working in or with high-performance IT delivery teams (such as DevOps and Scrum) that are responsible for or heavily involved in quality engineering such as QA professionals, testers and operations people. Other relevant roles include business analysts, product owners, developers, quality engineers, users, scrum masters, agile coaches, release train engineers, etc.
Course Content
TopDuring this training course the participants (that typically are the QA & testing specialist in a cross-functional team) will get knowledge and practical experience with the following QA & testing subjects (amongst others):
- IT delivery models (incl DevOps and Scrum)
- The VOICE model for achieving business value by IT delivery
- CI/CD pipeline and tooling
- QA & Testing topics, such as:
- quality risk analysis & test strategy
- acceptance criteria
- reviewing
- test data management
- test excution, investigating & assessing outcomes
- monitoring & control
- reporting & alerting
- infrastructure & tooling
- Quality measures, such as Specifaction and Example, Feature toggles
- Test design entities relationships
- Test design: Data combination testing, State transition testing, Semantic testing
- Experience based testing and the value of unstructured testing.
The training course lets participants get experience on these subjects through short introductions followed by relevant exercises and leaves ample room for sharing experiences by all participants.
During the course the participants will also practice exam questions.
Course Prerequisites
TopFor this training course basic knowledge of information technology, working in teams and an Agile way of working is required. There are no specific certifications required but we strongly advise to first get the certificate “TMAP: Quality for cross-functional teams”.
Test Certification

All participants receive a certification of attendance and prepare for taking the certification exam.
Exam
This training course prepares for the exam “TMAP: High-performance quality engineering”.
This is a 1,5 hour exam with 40 questions.
The exam is provided by the independent exam provider iSQI.
Examtraining
Participants may choose for more preparation by registering for the separate exam preparation training course of 2/3 day to rehearse the contents, discuss questions about the contents and to do a complete 40-question practice exam and get extensive feedback on the results. More information about this training course is available from the Sogeti Academy. Typically this may be folowed by the actual exam.
