BiSL® Foundation

• Operational level: functional administrator, core user, super-user, application manager
• Tactical level: System owner, client, product manager, budget holder
• Strategic level: Information management, programme manager

On completion of this training course, you will be able to articulate the context of the BiSL® framework and know the interrelationship between functional, application, technical management and the relationship of BiSL® with other models and methods (such as ASL® and ITIL®). You will gain insight into the BiSL® framework and the internal coherence of the processes. The specific learning objectives are:

• Become familiar with the different BiSL® process clusters, the BiSL® processes within them and BiSL® terminology;
• Gain insight into the BiSL® framework and internal coherence of the processes;
• Gaining concrete tools for applying BiSL in your organisation;
• Recognising the increasing importance of functional management;
• Cultivating enthusiasm for this approach;
• Preparation for the official exam.

Specific content:

• introduction BiSL® framework
• the role of functional management and information management
• the executive processes: user management and functionality management
• the steering processes
• the guiding processes and defining strategies for the organisation and information
• the connecting processes
• relations to other management forms
• introduction and use of BiSL®

Preferably experience in one of the areas named at target group.

• This course provides good preparation for the official BiSL® Foundation exam
• The exam is optional and can be purchased in conjunction with this course
