Users of vSphere 5.5 beware!

Upgrading to vSphere 6.7 will obviously be an important consideration for organizations that still use a prior vSphere version. This is particularly important for users of vSphere 5.5 or older. For this user group, general VMware support has now stopped.

However, when switching to vSphere 6.7, it is important to realize that vSphere 5.5 does not have a direct upgrade capability to vSphere 6.7. If you are currently working with vSphere 5.5, you will need to upgrade to vSphere 6.5 before you can upgrade to vSphere 6.7.
