Cisco Routing & Switching Certification Migration
The Cisco Routing and Switching certification path had not been updated for a while and was missing coverage in areas such as software defined networking, automation and programming. The new Cisco Enterprise certification path incorporates these technologies whilst bringing wireless and design under the same umbrella.
The exams for the new certification program will not be available until the 24th February 2020 however any exams you complete in the existing program will be rewarded when the new certifications become available on the 24th February 2020.

CCNA Routing and Switching to CCNA

CCNP Routing and Switching to CCNP Enterprise
The new programme has seen the removal of prerequisites for the achievement of certifications, so you will not need to have a CCNA certification to become CCNP certified.

CCIE Routing and Switching to CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
You still need two exams to achieve the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Certification, however the old written exam has been replaced with a qualifying exam that covers core enterprise infrastructure technologies and a hands-on-lab exam that covers enterprise networks through the entire network lifecycle. (Design, Deploy, Operate and Optimize)
