About the Security Mastermind Challenge?
Security Mastermind is a Capture The Flag challenge in which the participants learn to think like a hacker. This event will make your organization security aware.
This event is designed with game elements. In a playful way you learn all the basic elements of how hackers work. We use with a points system and a leaderboard, which creates a healthy competition between participants.
Learning in a playful way is the most fun!
During the challenge you will pentest the fictitious accountancy firm the Clerks Collecting Office. A pentest means that you look for the vulnerabilities of an organization in a legal way. You test the security as a hacker would – you expose vulnerabilities to the company, which they can use to strengthen their security strategy.
You can play the Security Mastermind in teams or alone. Use the Discord server to consult with other participants and ask for hints.
Please note: the language of the challenge is Dutch or English.
Fun, Learning and Interaction
The Security Mastermind is kicked off by our security expert Jochen den Ouden. Jochen den Ouden gives cybersecurity training, works as an ethical hacker and gives lectures on cyber security. During the kick-off you will hear what you will do during the challenge and you will receive a short explanation about pentesting.
Who is the challenge meant for?
Security Mastermind is accessible to everyone, experienced pentesters and beginners alike. Every participant will receive a certificate of participation afterwards, even if you cannot complete the challenge.
