It pays off to list your skills, certifications and the training courses you've attended on your LinkedIn profile. Your profile views an messages might go up, but you also demonstrate your knoweldge and skills to potential and current employers. Plus: once you've achieved the certification you've wanted for a long time - you want to show off your achievement, right?

In this article, you'll learn how to list Microsoft skills, certifications and training courses on your profile.

Add skills to your profile

Would you like to display that you know how to work with Azure SQL Database or that you are a PowerBI expert? Add skills to your LinkedIn profile. Follow these steps to do so:

  1. Click the me-icon on your LinkedIn-page
  2. Click on view profile
  3. Click add profile section
  4. Click skills
  5. Add the skill you would like to list on your profile

You can add up to 50 skills. Skills other LinkedIn-member recommend, will show up at the top of the list. You can pin up to 3 skills in this section of your profile. More information about adding skills is available on this LinkedIn-page.

Add your certification and share

Finally gotten your Microsoft certification? It's time to share it with your network. Read how you can share the certification with your network below. 

  1. Click the me-icon on your LinkedIn-page
  2. Click on view profile
  3. Click add profile section
  4. Click background
  5. Click licences and certifications
  6. Add your certification

Did you know that you can add your Skillsoft Percipio badges to LinkedIn as well? Share your Digital Badges easily on the Digital Badges page. Click Share to LinkedIn and add your achievement to your LinkedIn profile to show off your new skills.

Acclaim

You can also choose to share your certification via Acclaim. A badge will appear in your in your newsfeed and on the certification section of your profile. Find out how to get an Acclaim badge on this page.

Add training courses to your profile

This is how you add a training course to your profile:

  1. Click the me-icon on your LinkedIn-page
  2. Click on view profile
  3. Click add profile section
  4. Click prestations
  5. Click accomplishments
  6. Click courses
  7. Add the training course. Don't forget to add the course code and where you have taken this specific course
