Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS)

• Duration of the training course: 1 day
• Exam: CWS-100: Certified Wireless Specialist
The Certified Wireless Specialist certification shows you have basic knowledge of 802.11 and WiFi networks.
During the training course you attend for this certification, you learn about the 802.11 and WiFi terminology. Hardware and software in wireless networks (WLANs) will be discussed during this training course.
This certification is also suitable for professionals that don’t have a background in IT.
Certified Wireless Technician (CWT)

• Duration of the training course: 1 day
• Exam: CWT-100: Certified Wireless Technician
The Certified Wireless Technician certification is for IT professionals that want to learn more about 802.11 and WiFi networks.
During the training course, you learn how to configure, install and test devices. You get to know the basics of administrating a network. In addition to this, you will also learn about: Radio Frequency, WLAN antenna’s, RF Channels, WLAN clients and WiFi access point configuration, testing and administration.
This certification on your resume shows you know how to install and configure WiFi access points and your ability to troubleshoot a WiFi network on a basic level.
Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)

• Exam: CWNA-107: Certified Wireless Network Administrator
If you are administrating or want to administrate a WiFI network, the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification is perfect for you.
By performing hands-on exercises and discussion about the 802.11 WiFi technology, you gain the basic knowledge you need to administer a WiFi network. Once the basics are done, you learn more about this subject: WiFI design, security and troubleshooting will be discussed. During the training course, you use enterprise-class hardware and software in live lab exercises.
It’s not mandatory to get a Certified Wireless Specialist or Certified Wireless Technician certification prior to this certification, however, Global Knowledge does recommend it.
Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP)

The Certified Wireless Security Professional certification is perfect for network professionals that want to distinguish themselves as a security expert.
During the hands-on training course, you learn about the latest WLAN security and auditing tools. Learn about functionality to the 802.11i amendment on the 802.11 standard, how to use EAP in WLANs and about all the different WLAN security solutions that are available on the market at the moment.

Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP)

• Duration of the training course: 3 days
• Exam: CWDP-303: Certified Wireless Design Professional
Would you like to learn how to develop an Enterprise network? The Certified Wireless Design Professional certification is perfect for you if that’s the case.
During the training course you learn about architecture and the protocols used to build an Enterprise network for your organization. Learn how to develop, implement and test 802.11 based networks during this training course.

Certified Wireless Analysis Professional (CWAP)

• Duration of the training course: 4 days
• Exam: CWAP-403: Certified Wireless Analysis Professional
The Certified Wireless Analysis Professional certification shows you are able to analyse and troubleshoot Enterprise WLAN networks.
During this training course, you add depth to your networking knowledge. Learn about the functionality of WLANs, how the 802.11 protocol should function and about WiFi Alliance specifications. Of course, you will also gain knowledge of WLAN frame formatting and structure, methodology for troubleshooting and protocol analysis.

Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE)
• Recommended training courses: Enterprise Wi-Fi Analysis & Troubleshooting, Certified Wireless Design Professional and Enterprise Wi-Fi Security
• Duration of the training course: 11 days (three training courses total)
• Exam: For this certification, you have to take four exams, show you can preform commercial WLAN deployments and get three recommendations and a peer review from the CWNE Board of Advisors. Learn more about the requirements on this page.
The Certified Wireless Network Expert certification is the highest level of certification you can achieve in the CWNP-program. This certification shows you have advanced skills and knowledge in the area of Enteprise WiFi.
With this certification you also demonstrate you have knowledge of implementing, administering, installing, configuring, designing and troubleshooting Enterprise WiFi.
Important information: Professionals that want to achieve this certification usually already have two years of work and learning experience with wireless networks.
