On June 30th, the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certifications are retiring. Find out what that means for you in this Global Knowledge article.

The MCSA, MCSD and MCSE certifications are retiring to make room for the Microsoft Role Based certifications. These certifications were introduced by Microsoft last year and are specified to specific job roles or requirements in an organization.

What does this mean for your certification journey?

Until the 30th of June, you can still gain the MCSA, MCSD and MCSE certifications. These are valid as long as there is support for the products. The MCSA, MCSD or MCSE certifiction that you've already gotten stays on your transcript. After June 30th, it becomes impossible to get these certifications.
