Cisco Recertification Policy
Cisco Recertification requirements
All certifications have a three-year recertification deadline. Certified individuals will be able to recertify by either taking exams, earning Continuing Education credits or a mix of both. Continuing education activities include things like completing online training courses, completing instructor-led training courses and more.
The validity period of you Cisco certification can be viewed in the Cisco Career Certifications Tracking System.

How to get Cisco recertified
To recertify certification holders have the following options:
- Register for and pass the appropriate Cisco recertification exam(s)
- Recertify by completing continuing education activities and earning credits within those three years.
- Recertify by advancing to the next level of certifications in the Cisco Continuing Education Programme.
Certification must be met prior to the certification expiration date. Individuals with expired certification(s) must repeat the entire certification exam process in order to regain their certification(s) status.
