There are no formal prerequisites for the ITIL® 4 Extension Modules. The relevant key concepts from the ITIL® 4 framework will be covered as part of each module, making it accessible to anyone interested in gaining critical skills in
these areas.

ITIL® 4 Specialist: Acquiring & Managing Cloud Services

Supporting successful cloud procurement and technology integration

Introduction:
This specialist module is for IT professionals who are involved in the procurement, implementation and ongoing evaluation of cloud services and technologies to ensure they are providing value.

ITIL® 4 Acquiring & Managing Cloud Services will enable professionals to:

  • Analyze available solutions and potential benefits using a vendor-neutral approach.
  • Effectively Identify, select and deliver optimised cloud services.
  • Facilitate value co-creation through successful cloud services procurement and integration whilst applying the
    ITIL 4 framework.
  • Adopt a customer-focused end-to-end cloud procurement user journey.

ITIL® 4 Specialist: Sustainability in Digital & IT

Aligning sustainability objectives with Digital and IT strategies

Introduction:
This specialist module is for Digital and IT professionals who are looking to understand the role IT and digitally enabled services have in relation to the environment, whilst exploring opportunities to positively impact it.

ITIL® 4 Specialist: Sustainability in Digital & IT will enable professionals to:

  • Understand how to use the ITIL guiding principles to deliver value by creating sustainable digitally enabled products and services.
  • Effectively address volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) challenges through sustainable strategies, procurement, products and practices.
  • Obtain a practical grounding in the key principles of sustainability.
  • Conduct a full cost benefit analysis identifying potential risks and opportunities using best practice guidance.
