Keep developing yourself – this article tells you why

Because of the current Covid-19 restrictions, Global Knowledge offers all the training courses in the ING Learning Center online. This means you can still attend in-classroom training courses – but in our Virtual Classroom, instead of at on one of our locations. So keep developing yourself and…

Jump start 2021 by following a training course. Follow in the footsteps of 10.000 other professionals and continue to develop your skills. In this article you’ll find out why you should invest in yourself now and how you can do so.

Why should you develop yourself now?

It might sound a little silly: “keep developing yourself”. For a lot of people, 2020 feels like a lost year, maybe it feels that way for you too. But even though it seems like everything has come to a standstill, life still continues and things still develop quite rapidly.

This surely applies to the IT world. If you don’t increase your knowledge in time, you will fall behind. This can have consequences for your organization and your career.

So continue to develop your skills – even when business isn’t as usual. Well-skilled employees stay ahead of the competition, they are more motivated and find creative solutions to challenges. A training course or a webinar about your area of expertise also makes your work more enjoyable – and when your work is more enjoyable, it will become easier too.

How do you continue to develop your skills?

How can you continue to develop yourself? By attending a training course in the ING Learning Center in the Global Knowledge Virtual Classroom for example. This is a training course at the location of your preference, with the same quality as an in-classroom training course..

Guided by our expert instructors, you will receive the same course materials as you would at an in-classroom course. From Microsoft to Red Hat and Cloud training courses – Global Knowledge has something for all ING employees.

Sneak preview

In the course catalogue in the ING Learning Center you will find training courses to increase your knowledge about the cloud. In the catalogue you will find Red Hat OpenShift Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator , Cloud Governance and many other training courses.

Learn from each other

During a Virtual Classroom training course, you won’t just learn from the instructor. You also exchange thoughts and ideas with other participants and you perform assessments. This gives you the opportunity to learn from other participants in addition to learning from the instructor.

More than 10.000 participants attended a Virtual Classroom training course at Global Knowledge this year. From a ‘fun and educational experience’ to ‘I got the feeling I was in the classroom with the other participants’ and ‘the exercises are based on real-life scenarios’ – the reviews are very positive.
