Naar bovenThis BIO2 Update is intended for anyone who is already familiar with the current Baseline Information Security for Government (BIO) and would like to know in one day what will change under BIO2.
This BIO2 Update has a practical approach and focuses primarily on all changes compared to the first version of the BIO. BIO2 is based on the latest versions of ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 and also establishes links to other standards such as NEN 7510 and the Cyber Security Implementation Guideline (CSIR). BIO2 implements the duty of care as it is translated in the Netherlands from the NIS2 guideline into the Cyber Security Act (Cbw), which is expected to take effect in Q3 2025.
The course materials are provided via a portal at the start of the class. The course and the course materials are delivered in Dutch.

Naar bovenThis course is intended for officials within a government organization who are already involved in implementing the BIO and who already have a good basic knowledge level (BIO 1.4). This includes Security Officers, Privacy Officers, DPOs, System Owners, Process Owners, and Auditors. Professional consultants and other external service providers to government organizations involved in a BIO implementation are also included.
