Trainingsbeschrijving
Naar bovenThis course is designed for new or entry-level B-Series SAN administrators. It provides a comprehensive understanding of everyday administration within an HPE SAN solution, covering a broad range of technologies and concepts such as FC, iSCSI, and FCoE. It discusses basics and building blocks of FC and IP-SAN, with examples based on B-Series products, as well as the role of SAN-enabled hosts and disk targets. B-Series SAN features and management options are also presented. Other topics include data protection, basic SAN security, and performance aspects of SAN components.
Please note that advanced technologies are only introduced in this course, while they are fully covered in the SAN Essentials II: Advanced B-series Networking course. This training helps students gain the experience needed to tackle the challenges of working in medium-sized and enterpriseclass B-Series SAN environments. This course covers general SAN technologies and StoreFabric B-series specific topics.
NOTE: HPE SAN Essentials I: Administration Fundamentals Self-Paced Training has two components:
- Web-based training available online
- Hands-on practice available through HPE Virtual Labs
With this eLearning course, you have options normally unavailable with an instructor-led course. You have a year of access to the web-based portion of the training so that you may repeat sections for reinforcement. Take this training at your own pace and on your own schedule. You have 3 sequential days of access to the HPE Virtual Labs to run the labs associated with this course.
Company Events
These events can be delivered exclusively for your company at our locations or yours, specifically for your delegates and your needs. The Company Events can be tailored or standard course deliveries.
