This certificate is a mandatory pre-requisite to all of the next level of ITIL certifications and training courses and is worth 2 credits towards achieving the ITIL Expert certification.
Target Audience: This certification is primarily for IT managers, practitioners and support staff involved in the strategy, design, and implementation and on-going support and delivery of business IT services. It also proves useful for those interfacing with information systems who require an insight into service management best practice. This may include Business Analysts, Business Relationship Managers, Project and Programme staff.

This course provides IT Managers and Practitioners with a practical understanding of IT Service Management, the underpinning core ITIL Service Delivery and Service Support Processes and implementation guidance. It also prepares delegates for the ISEB/EXIN Foundation Certificate Examination.
Next Steps: ITIL 4
The “ITIL4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management” is a pre-requisite for other ITIL4 qualifications. The examination is a 1 hour, closed book, multiple choice paper of 40 questions taken on completion of the course or shortly afterwards. The pass mark is 65% (26 out of 40)

ITIL 4 Managing Professional is a stream of four modules that are part of ITIL 4, the next evolution of ITIL. More information about the launch of ITIL 4 MP will be released late 2019 or into 2020, however you can already attend Global Knowledge’s ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition course (code ITIL4MP).
