Professional partners demonstrate knowledge of VMware virtualization solutions by achieving a VMware Sales Professional and a VMware Technical Sales Profession and are able to sell the entire VMware product line. As Professional partner, you have access to free demonstration software, demand generation campaigns, and are listed in the VMware Partner Locator.
Enterprise level partners demonstrate an extensive expertise in working with VMware technologies by earning the Infrastructure Virtualization Competency. At this level, you earn all the financial incentives under the advantage + opportunity registration program, are given high quality sales leads, and have access to service IPs to support you in building your VMware virtualization business and strengthen customer loyalty.
Premier partners are the most qualified partners and have earned the highest level of benefits, sales and marketing support, and financial incentives from VMware. With three competencies, these partners have demonstrated the broadest range of expertise and receive a designated VMware account manager to help you with business plans, access to the most demonstration software and internal use licensing, and priority listing on the VMware Partner Locator.

Business Continuity Competency
Be the trusted advisor for architecting VMware virtualization deployments that minimize downtime and protect important data. This competency recognizes your company’s expertise in deploying VMware solutions for data protection, high availability and disaster recovery.
Desktop Virtualization Competency
Become a VMware universal client solution expert with the Desktop Virtualization Competency. This competency recognizes your expertise in deploying VMware solutions for virtualizing desktops and applications.
Virtualization of Business Critical Applications (VBCA) Competency
This competency is designed so that partners can offer guidance and solutions for virtualizing business-critical applications such as Exchange, SQL, Oracle and SAP.
Management Operations Competency
These skills will help you to extract more value from your knowledge about vCenter Operations Management solutions. Through strategic differentiation helps your customers in making the right decisions and choices to the cloud.
The VMware Hybrid Cloud Solution Competency enables partners to successfully sell cloud services and seamlessly migrate customers from physical to cloud (P2C) or migrate from the private cloud to the public cloud. The competency is designed to help you create opportunities, drive pipeline and increase revenues with VMware.
