ICND2 - Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices 2
Round out your CCNA certification prep as you learn to implement medium-sized networks.
A new version of this course,
ICND2 v2.0, is available now and is part of Cisco's new CCNA Routing and
Switching certification program.
All ICND2 courses are not the same. Our enhanced course includes several extras you won't find anywhere else.
Building on the skills provided by ICND1 (Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices 1), ICND2 not only delivers essential information needed to pass the CCNA certification exams, it also gives you a solid technical foundation to ensure that you can succeed on the job.
We've added our own real-world, hands-on labs designed by expert instructors to give you experience with practical scenarios, including issues involved when you expand the switched network from a small to medium network environment.
Global Knowledge Exclusive!
Our ICND2 course includes several extras at no additional cost:
- Access to our enhanced lab topology including two routers and one switch per pod
- Five extra ICND2 e-Lab credits, good for 30 days, so you can practice and refine your skills
- Kaplan SelfTest's exam prep products (30 days of access from the time you launch the SelfTest software)
- 30 days of access to ICND2 web-based course material

Why Global Knowledge?
Our sophisticated ICND2 lab environment guarantees that you and your lab partner will have a full set of equipment, including two 2611XM Multiservice Routers running 12.4(5b) Advanced IP Services and a 2950 Catalyst Switch running 12.1(22) IOS CRYPTO Services, for your use during class. No other training provider in North America provides you with a dual router set up like ours.
To ensure the most real-world experience possible during your time in class, each pod is connected to dedicated core router set up to act as a Frame Relay switch, making each pod completely independent. Every router has multiple serial interfaces, which can be configured for HDLC, PPP, or Frame Relay, and a Fast Ethernet interface to support different combinations of forwarding paths. The switch is interconnected to the core through multiple interfaces so you can practice virtual local area networks (VLANs), trunking, STP, RSTP, PVST+, etc., as needed for the exam.
