GK Brand Guidelines

The Logo

The Global Knowledge logo is a contemporary mark consisting of two elements, a modern wordmark and a reimagined globe.

Trademark

Because of the nature of our company name it is imperative we use the logo as show with the TM symbol to ensure legal coverage, trademark compliance and global consistency. Only the exact combination of the two elements creates the Global Knowledge trademarked logo.

Logo color

Our logo is available in three primary colors: blue, white and gray. No other colors of the logo are acceptable.

Global Knowledge Blue Logo

This is our primary color logo. Use this version wherever possible.

Global Knowledge White Logo

Use this version wherever the blue logo is not legible, typically over dark backgrounds.

Global Knowledge Gray Logo

Use the logo on light backgrounds when the primary blue logo is not legible.

Clear space

To preserve the integrity and visual impact of the Global Knowledge logo, always maintain adequate clear space around it. The clear space around the logo is an integral part of its design, and ensures the logo can be seen quickly, uncluttered by other logos, symbols, artwork, or text. The clear space is equal to the distance between the right most ray of the globe and the outside of the globe, marked by an X in the diagrams.

Minimum size

The Global Knowledge logo should never be smaller than 72px in digital or 1 inch / 25.4 mm in print.

Logo Misuse

It is important that the appearance of the logo remains consistent. The logo should not be modified from its trademarked state or altered in any way. Its orientation, color and composition should remain as indicated in this document — there are no exceptions.

Co-brand Logo

When pairing the Global Knowledge logo with a partner logo it is important to follow these simple steps to accurately represent the logos and brands of both companies. When Global Knowledge is the primary brand our logo always appears first in any configuration. You will want to adhere to any partner logo guidelines when creating the proper lock-up. On light colored background use a dark gray dividing line. On dark backgrounds use a white diving line.

Horizontal lockup

Place the Global Knowledge logo first followed by a vertical diving line then the partner logo. The Global Knowledge logo should always be larger or the same size in height or width to the partner logo. The partner logo cannot appear larger than the Global Knowledge logo.

Vertical lockup

Place the Global Knowledge logo on top of a horizontal diving line then the partner logo rests on the bottom. The Global Knowledge logo should always be larger or the same size in width or height to the partner logo. The partner logo cannot appear larger than the Global Knowledge logo.

The Globe

In cases where the Global Knowledge brand has already been established, we can simply use the globe as means of identification. This is especially handy in social media accounts where the company profile space is small, but the company name is always present. The Globe does not replace the company logo and should never be used when the company name in not present.
