Payment Policy: Company payment, approved company purchase order, or prepaid government training form is required prior to registration. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and US Government credit cards. For credit card users, charges will be in the currency of the country where the class takes place and will be converted by your credit card company; Global Knowledge is not responsible for fluctuations due to exchange rates. Prepayment is required from students outside the U.S. Pricing, registration terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice. Classroom Learning and Virtual Classroom programs are available only to employer-sponsored trainees.
Applicable taxes will be applied to your invoice. For pre-paid packages, applicable taxes will be deducted from the deposit amount as classes are taken.
Global Knowledge reserves the right to change pricing, registration terms, and conditions, to make changes to any of our products or programs described on this web site, or to change a course location or cancel a course at any time without notice or liability. Global Knowledge's sole liability will be limited to the refunding of any fees paid in respect of the course and Global Knowledge shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever. Global Knowledge will endeavor to give enrollees as much advance notice as possible of any change to their enrollment.
Cisco Learning Credits (CLCs)
- CLCs may only be used to purchase Cisco training courses or products. If CLCS are used in combination with other forms of payment to set up the Account, that portion of the Account contributed by CLCs may only be used to purchase Cisco training services and products; other funds in the Account may be used to purchase other services and products.
- Training classes purchased using funds in the Account contributed by CLCs must be completed prior to the expiration of the CLCs regardless of the Term.
- Upon purchase by Customer using funds in the Account contributed by CLCs, Global will provide an invoice to Customer referencing the SO# above.
Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATVs)
- Local "Terms of Usage" established by the Microsoft® Certified Partner for Learning Solutions apply.
- The company participating in the Software Assurance Enrollment under which the vouchers were created, has the ability to revoke or un-reserve this benefit before the cancellation date.
- Any course days not covered by the voucher will need to be paid by the person receiving the training. Any voucher days in excess of the amount of the course, will be returned to the pool of benefit days available to be assigned by the benefit administrator.
- The voucher is only redeemable for days of instructor-led training at Microsoft® Certified Partner for Learning Solutions and only for courses within the list available within the Software Assurance Training Voucher program.
- These vouchers are non transferable - vouchers may only be redeemed by the individual they have been assigned to (Authentication of the training recipient is accomplished by providing the e-mail address of the individual to whom this e-mail is addressed).
- Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash, monies or other valuable considerations.
- The voucher will expire 6 months (180 days) from issue date. Vouchers may be used to reserve training at only one Microsoft® Certified Partner for Learning Solutions at a time.
- The Microsoft® Certified Partner for Learning Solutions reserves the right to cancel a class according to local cancellation policy.
- In the event of cancellation by the student, Global will invoice the Customer directly for any charges due to no-show or late cancellations according to the cancellation policy set forth above.
Export Trade Compliance on all VMware Courses
VMware requires all students who attend VMware training must have passed a background check prior to attending training. This step is to ensure compliance with US laws and regulations on the export/re-export of products, services, or technical data. The compliance regulates that VMware products, services, and technical data must not:
- Travel to countries subject to US embargoes or trade sanctions
- Be obtained by any entity of an individual, whether in the US or abroad, specified on US government "exclusion" lists
- Be used, directly or indirectly in the design, development, or fabrication of nuclear, chemical, biological weapons or missile technology
All students attending a VMware course must be registered through VMware's myLearn system where a trade compliance check will occur. Students must be approved and validated before the attending the course. If a student is denied, they will be asked to leave the classroom immediately per the export trade compliance requirement.

Classroom Learning Registration Information
Classroom Learning Course Tuition: Tuition covers all course materials, refreshments, and your Certificate of Completion. Parking expenses you may incur are not included.
Course Locations: For Classroom Learning courses, please contact us at 1-800-COURSES regarding specific training locations. Because we have multiple locations in larger cities, always double-check your confirmation letter for the exact course location.
Hotel Accommodations: Please identify yourself as a Global Knowledge participant in order to qualify for the special rate at our preferred hotels. Rates are subject to change at the discretion of the hotel.
Course Schedule: For Classroom Learning courses, registration is at 8:00 a.m. on the first day. Standard Classroom Learning courses begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m. each day. However, please note Boot Camps have extended hours and often run well into the evening. Inquire for specific details.
Attendance policy:
Global Knowledge-Delivered Course Registrations: If you are unable to attend your scheduled training class, please contact 1800 COURSES (1-800-268-7737). We require 16 calendar days notice to reschedule or to cancel any registration (and receive refund for pre-payment). Failure to provide the required notification will result in 100% charge of the course. If a student does not attend a scheduled course without prior notification it will result in full forfeiture of the funds and no reschedule will be allowed. Within the required notification period, only student substitutions will be permitted.
Reschedules are permitted at anytime with 16 or more calendar days notice. Enrollments must be rescheduled within six months of the cancel date or funds on account will be forfeited.
Red Hat® Training Cancellation Policy
The policies below apply to ALL Red Hat training and certification programs:
Cancellation/Rescheduling by participant:
Students will receive a refund only if Global Knowledge receives a notice of cancellation more than 15 full calendar days (not including the class/exam start date) before the class/exam start date.
Students may only reschedule a class/exam to a later date if Global Knowledge receives a notice of reschedule more than 15 full calendar days (not including the class/exam start date) before the class/exam start date. A student can reschedule a class/exam up to two (2) times. Additional reschedules will not be allowed. Reschedules must adhere to the reschedule policy.
If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or reschedule given. Payment is forfeited.
Student substitutions are allowed, but we must be notified via email to Cancel.NAM@globalknowledge.com no less than 2 full business days before the start of the class (not including the class/exam start date) for Classroom deliveries and no later than 5 full business days before the start of the class (not including the class start date) for Virtual Classroom deliveries.
EX200 & EX300 Exam Postponement
Students enrolled in Red Hat System Administration II with RHCSA Exam (RH135), RHCSA Rapid Track Course with Exam (RH200), Red Hat System Administration III with RHCSA and RHCE Exams (RH255), or RHCE Rapid Track Course with RHCSA and RHCE Exams (RH300) who decide they are not ready for the RHCSA or RHCE exam on Friday, must email training@redhat.com no later than 6:30pm (US EST) the Thursday before the exam.No refund is given but the student may reschedule the exam(s) for an additional fee of $200 per exam. The reduced rate is only valid for 6 months from the original exam date.
VMWare and Other Partner Delivered Courses - Required Notice Period: Any request to reschedule a VMWare or partner delivered course registration must be emailed to Cancel.NAM@globalknowledge.com 15 full business days prior to the start date of the scheduled training course. Substitution requests must be submitted to Cancel.NAM@globalknowledge.com two full business days prior to the start date of the scheduled training course (not including the class/exam start date).
If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or reschedule given. Payment is forfeited.

Boot Camp Attendance Policy: The Boot Camp Attendance Policy is the same as listed above, however, if student materials have been mailed in advance of the cancellation, a $500 fee will be charged.
100% Guarantee - Global Knowledge believes that we offer the best possible training. If upon completion of the first day of Classroom and Virtual training you are not satisfied with the course and wish to withdraw for this reason, (i) notify the instructor, (ii) return all course materials, and (iii) contact the Cancellation Department (as above) by the close of business in order to receive a 100% refund or to apply the money to other future training. This guarantee will only apply if student completes the first full day of class and has signed the class roster. All training materials must remain with the instructor at the time of withdrawal.

Virtual Classroom Registration Information
Virtual Classroom Course Tuition: Tuition covers all course materials and course software.
Your Virtual Classroom Guarantee: We believe we offer the best training possible. If after the first session of your Virtual course you are not satisfied and wish to withdraw, notify us in writing by fax to 919-461-8646 or email at Cancel.NAM@globalknowledge.com prior to the start of the second session of the class and receive a 100% refund, less any applicable fees. A materials and transfer fee may apply.

License Agreement for Virtual Classroom: Payment of tuition gives you a personal non-exclusive, non-transferable license to attend one Virtual Classroom course. Transferring or sharing your license with anyone else is a violation of the licensing agreement and is subject to legal action.
Recordings: All Virtual Classroom courses delivered by Global Knowledge are recorded and kept for attendees to access for up to 60 days following class. The recording includes any student questions or comments.
Red Hat Virtual Classroom classes cannot be delivered to students outside North America.
Self-Paced Ordering Information
Return Policy for Self-Paced CDs: Any defective product will be replaced with a new shipment of the same product. Unopened products can be returned for a full refund within 21 days of being shipped to the customer.* Individual products that are sold as components of a multi-product package or bundle are not eligible for refund. Any opened or accessed product is not eligible for a refund, but may be exchanged for another product of equal or lesser value. Exchanges are subject to a $100 re-stocking fee per opened item if written notification is received by fax to 919-461-8646 or email at Cancel.NAM@globalknowledge.com within 21 days of the product being shipped to the customer.
*e-Keys are not included. Transferring or sharing your e-Keys with anyone else is a violation of the licensing agreement and is subject to legal action.

Cancellation Policy for Self-Paced, web delivery: Online subscriptions cannot be cancelled or refunded.

On-Site Information
Cancellation Policy: If Customer cancels or reschedules a course within twenty (20) business days of the scheduled start date, Customer will be charged 25% of the Base Course Fee. If cancellation or reschedule occurs within ten (10) business days of the start date, Customer will be charged 50% of the Base Course Fee. Any such fee charged will not be applied to the price of any rescheduled courses.
