How to redeem CLCs for Cisco training courses

Cisco Learning Credits (CLCs) are prepaid training vouchers which can be redeemed for training related products and services. Previously, these Cisco Learning Credits could be redeemed directly at a Cisco Learning Partner such as Global Knowledge.

Now, the Learning Credits can only be redeemed directly at Cisco. However, this doesn’t mean that Cisco courses organized and delivered by Global Knowledge can no longer be paid with Cisco Learning Credits. You can still book these courses with CLCs, however you must now book the course via the Cisco Learning Portal. This applies to both open schedule and in-company courses.

Which Cisco courses can be paid for with Cisco Learning Credits?

All Global Knowledge Cisco-Authorised training courses can be redeemed with CLCs. The number of credits charged for a course are always determined by Cisco.

If you would like Global Knowledge to deliver a Cisco course for just a group of your own staff (perhaps at your own location), just contact us. We’ll discuss options with you and initiate the booking process with Cisco.

Where can I book my Cisco open roster course with CLCs?

If you wish to book a Cisco course with Cisco Learning Credits as your payment method, you’ll need to follow the next steps:

1. Go to the Cisco Learning Locator
2. Select the desired course. If you already know the course code of the training you’d like to attend, the easiest way to select the course is by entering the course code in the search field. You can also select a course by searching for Technology or Certification, for example.
3. To make it easier to find the training you want to follow at Global Knowledge, type 'Global Knowledge Network' in the 'Course provider'
4. Scroll to the date you want to follow the training.
5. Click 'Enroll using CLCs' and complete the booking process by entering the CLCs you have.
6. A Team Captain (this is someone designated by your own organization) will receive an email from Cisco asking him or her to approve the training request paid with CLCs. After the Team Captain has approved the booking, the booking is forwarded to Global Knowledge and you are officially enrolled in the course.
