B. It enables location‐independent file storage
C. It can be used as a cheap alternative to Fibre Channel
D. It operates only on Apple hardware

Reveal Answer

The correct answer is D.

iSCSI is not an Apple hardware product or solution, it just happens to have the lowercase “i” naming convention that many Apple products use. iSCSI is a network standard for storage based IP, it enables location-independent file storage and it can be used as a cheap alternative to Fibre Channel.
