The Government of Canada has awarded Global Knowledge a 10-year Standing Offer and Supply Arrangement
Ottawa, ONTARIO, April 3, 2017 — The Government of Canada has awarded Global Knowledge a 10-year Standing Offer and Supply Arrangement for the provision of commercially available training to all federal government employees.
Global Knowledge Canada president Lawrence Franco noted the significance of the government’s decision. “The federal government is Canada’s largest employer, and Global Knowledge is Canada’s largest training provider. We can serve the government’s needs anywhere in Canada across multiple modalities, and our learning curriculum is second to none.”
Global Knowledge Government Sales Vice-President Anne Crupi stressed the timeliness of the announcement. “Technology has heightened taxpayers’ expectations, and it’s made every government initiative far more challenging and complicated. Employee training needs to be included from the earliest stages of planning, and this new agreement makes it much simpler to include the right training at the right time for projects of any size.”
The Standing Offer will provide commercially available training to individual learners in the federal government. For larger government projects and groups, the Supply Arrangement will manage training that is customized to align with specific strategic goals.
