The AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is interesting for IT professionals that are already familiar with AWS and want to expand their knowledge. Professionals that are interested in a Professional certification, have to obtain the Associate certification first.

Step 1: The basics: Virtual Classroom training courses
Start your learning journey to an AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification with a training course that teaches you all the basics for AWS users: AWS Technical Essentials (GK4501). During the AWS Technical Essentials course you get to know AWS' cloud solutions through demo's, video's and hands-on labs.

Step 2: Prepare for your first exam with GK Polaris Accelerate
Once you have attended the two training courses using your GK Polaris Discovery subscription, it is time to take the exam. To get the AWS Solutions Architect - Asscoiate certification, you have to pass the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level exam. You can book the exam on this page.
To prepare for your exam, you can attend the five day Exam Readiness Intensive Workshop: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (GK4502-ER) in the Virtual Classroom. But, for an even better preparation, you use the exam prep from our GK Polaris Accelerate subscription.

Step 3: Passed your exam? Level up to the Professional certification
Once you have acchieved the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification, it is time for the next step: The AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification. All the courses you need for this certification are also available in GK Polaris Discovery.
To obtain this certification, you need to take two courses:
- Advanced Architecting on AWS (GK1980)
- Exam readiness: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (GK7390) (to prep for the exam)
