What to do to upgrade your VMware VCP-DCV certification

If you have an obsolete VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification such as a VCP5 or VCP6-DCV and you would like to upgrade it to a modern VCP-DCV 2019 certification, then you should follow the VMware vSphere training course: What's New v6.7 (VMWN) is a good choice to sharpen your knowledge of vSphere 6.7.

You have the choice to take one of the following exams to actually recertify yourself:

  • VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization exam (2V0-622)
  • VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization Delta exam (2V0-622D)
  • Professional vSphere 6.7 Exam 2019 (2V0-21.19)

The exams 2V0-622 and 2V0-21.19 are both exams that test your full knowledge of vSphere, with the exam 2V0-21.19 also testing your knowledge of vSphere 6.7.

The advantage of the Delta 2V0-622D exam is that it only tests your knowledge of the differences between vSphere 5.x and vSphere 6.7.
