The Cisco Business Value Practitioner is a certification program for sales professionals that engage in customer conversations designed to pinpoint a strategic view of customer needs, lead stakeholders to consensus decisions, and produce cross-architectural roadmaps. This certification will help students to become and succeed as a trusted advisor, to engage in and lead customers through comprehensive, relevant business discussions.

This exam tests a student's knowledge on use of advanced solution-and outcome-based selling approaches, to help customers meet their digital business goals.
Cisco Specialist certifications are valid for two years. To recertify, pass the current version of the required exam.
