Global Knowledge Launches Amazon Web Services Training

Date:
Nov. 13, 2013

CARY, N.C. and TORONTO Global Knowledge, worldwide leader in IT and business training, today announced its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver the complete curriculum of authorized AWS training courses.

The first AWS authorized training provider in North America, Global Knowledge has added the AWS courses to its extensive cloud computing training portfolio to help individuals delivering cloud-based solutions gain proficiency with AWS services and solutions. The hands-on, role-based AWS courses are designed around the three primary roles that comprise engineering teams delivering cloud-based solutions: solutions architect, sysops administrator, and developer.

The courses cover AWS fundamentals as well as advanced topics and techniques, and they are available in classrooms, live online in virtual classrooms, or as private on-site courses that can be tailored to the needs of a student's organization.

"We are very excited to have Global Knowledge as an AWS authorized training provider," said Maureen Lonergan, Director of Training and Certification at AWS. "We are excited to work together to expand the accessibility of AWS training throughout North America in classrooms and online."

"We are thrilled to team with AWS to provide authorized AWS training, and we applaud their innovation and leadership in the cloud services market," said Michael Fox, Global Knowledge Senior Vice President. "We're especially excited to enable AWS students, regardless of their location, to access authorized AWS courses via live online AWS training in our virtual classrooms."
