IT professionals invited to participate in seventh annual IT Skills and Salary Survey.

CARY, N.C., and NEW YORK - Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT and business skills training, and Windows IT Pro, a division of Penton and the leading independent community for Microsoft Windows IT professionals, today announced the launch of the seventh annual IT Skills and Salary Survey.

The 2014 IT Skills and Salary Survey addresses issues affecting IT professionals today, including salary ranges for major IT certifications, the skills that hiring managers will be seeking in the coming year, and the impact of the economy on business conditions and IT pay. The study also examines factors that contribute to work satisfaction, the importance of training and professional certification, and trends of opportunity or concern for 2014.

The 2013 IT salary survey yielded more than 23,800 responses worldwide, making it one of the largest and most comprehensive IT salary surveys in the industry.

IT professionals are invited to take part in the survey before October 18, 2013. Participants in the approximately 15-minute survey will receive a free copy of the final report when it is issued in March 2014. Also, all respondents will be entered into a random drawing to win one of eight $250 American Express gift cards.
