New Global Knowledge Courses Prepare Students for MCSA: Windows Server 2012 Certification
Cary, NC - September 18, 2012 - Global Knowledge, worldwide leader in IT and business training, today announced the availability of four new Microsoft Windows Server 2012 courses, all of which help students prepare for MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification.
Three of the four courses create a series in which students will gain the skills and knowledge needed to implement a core Microsoft Windows Server 2012 infrastructure in an existing enterprise environment while preparing for MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification.
In the first course, Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 (M20410), students will learn how to implement and configure the core Windows Server 2012 services, including Active Directory Domain Services and networking services, and they will perform initial Hyper-V configuration.
In the follow-on course, Administering Windows Server 2012 (M20411), students will learn to perform the administration tasks necessary to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure, including user and group management, network access, and data security.
In the final course of the three-part series, Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services (M20412), students will learn to perform the advanced configuration and services tasks needed to deploy, manage, and maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure. They will learn about identity management and federation, network load balancing, business continuity and disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and rights management.
In Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012 (M20417), students will learn about new features and functionality in Microsoft Windows Server 2012, including management, networking infrastructure, storage, access control, Hyper-V, high availability, and identity federation. This course is designed for Microsoft professionals who hold one or more of the following certifications and want to achieve MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification:
- MCSA: Windows Server 2008
- MCITP: Virtualization Administrator
- MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator
- MCITP: Lync Server Administrator
- MCITP: SharePoint Administrator
- MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator
All four courses are available in classrooms, live over the Internet in virtual classrooms, and as private on-site courses that can be tailored to the needs of a student's organization.
