Global Knowledge Wins a Grand Slam in Microsoft Training Boot Camp Competition
Redmond magazine readers give Microsoft Training from Global Knowledge first place honors by a wide margin for Boot Camps and Virtualization Training and second place for Online, Disk, or Instructor-Led Training
Cary, N.C. - December 1, 2009 - Global Knowledge has received the new Grand Slam award from Redmond magazine readers for its Microsoft training. The worldwide leader in IT and business skills training earned first place and Grand Slam honors in Redmond magazine's 2009 Readers' Choice Awards for Best Windows Certification-Based Boot Camp. The company was also awarded first place for Best Virtualization Training and second place for Best Online, Disk-Based, or Instructor-Led Training.
"We are delighted to be recognized by Redmond magazine readers for the seventh consecutive year," said Michael Fox, Global Knowledge Senior Vice President. "Student endorsement of our Microsoft training is the highest validation and reflects the top quality and positive learning experience we strive to provide for our students," he added.
In the competitive Best Windows Certification-Based Boot Camp category, Global Knowledge was given the top spot by 56.1% of Redmond's readership, well ahead of the 9.7% for second place. "Global Knowledge took home a Grand Slam in this category, with nobody else within striking distance," wrote Lee Pender, executive features editor of Redmond magazine. The Grand Slam is new to the 2009 Readers' Choice Awards program and was created to recognize products that have won in the same category for four consecutive years.
"The most exciting aspect of the Readers' Choice awards is the fact that users of the products choose the winners," Pender noted. "Our readers are people in the trenches who use the products every day and know what works and what doesn't. They're the ultimate panel of judges."
Global Knowledge delivers a full schedule of Microsoft training courses worldwide and has received awards from Redmond magazine readers every year since 2003.
