About the Presenter:

Marcus A. Morissette has over 15 years of IT experience in the private and military sectors. He served as a Judge Advocate on active duty from 1997 to 2001 and has been active in the US Navy Reserve since 2001. He serves as one of the reserve Assistant Staff Judge Advocates for NORAD-USNORTHCOM, advising on areas of operational law, defense support of civil authorities, and cyber war and cyber security. He is a reserve member of the US Navy JAGC Code 18, the JAGC's Intelligence and Information Operations Law Directorate.

Morissette holds multiple professional and technical certifications, including CISSP, CISA, CIPP, and a Bachelors of Art in Economics from the University of Maryland. A member of the Cyber Security Forum Initiative (CSFI) and a member and forum manager for the CSFI Cyber Warfare Division, Morissette received his JD from the University of Idaho and has completed Phase I of the Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) through the Naval War College Distance Learning Program.
