This is an expert course for individuals who manage the performance of an IBM POWER5 processor-based system running the AIX 5L V5.3 operating system. This includes AIX technical support individuals, system administrators, systems engineers, and performance analysis individuals.

Have the equivalent extensive AIX 5L knowledge and good performance monitoring skills

You should also complete:

System p LPAR and Virtualization I: Planning and Configuration
Have the equivalent understanding of logical partition administration skills on POWER5 processor-based systems
