IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Advanced Level Requirements Modeling (IREB_CPREAL_M)

The Advanced Level addresses the holders of the CPRE Foundation Level certificate, who want to deepen their knowledge of particular Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis activities. The FL certificate is a prerequisite for an AL certificate.

The examination consists of two parts:

• Written examination (multiple choice test)
• Written assignment within one year after passing the written examination.

The holder of a CPRE AL certificate

• is familiar with the specific terminology within the field covered by the Advanced Level module and the CPRE Glossary,
• has mastered the specific techniques and methods of the partial discipline of Requirements Engineering covered by the Advanced Level module,
• possesses sound knowledge within the partial discipline of Requirements Engineering covered by the Advanced Level module and has proven that in a practical examination.
  

Four independent modules are available:

1. Requirements Elicitation

Techniques from the Foundation Level are elaborated here in more detail and further techniques added enabling participants to efficiently elicit requirements.

2. Requirements Modeling

Correct use of graphical models to express functional requirements.

3. Requirements Management

Appropriate methods and techniques to effectively deal with the management of requirements throughout the product development.

4. RE @Agile

How to apply RE methods and techniques in agile development processes - and vice versa.
Each module entails an exam and has a corresponding certificate. Choose the module(s) that fit best to your professional scope!
